Hi Ahmet,
I understand you got very excited about this blue shot. And I can see why. This place seems very nice and you had a chance to make a great composition here.
however, I think something went a bit wrong on the way... Sorry...
but I think this shot has potential and you should work a bit on it.
Here's some tips for improvement:
1. The horizon line is really tilted to the left. Horison lines should always be aligned and preferentially off the middle of the photo. For a more harmonic composition, place the horison line in one of the thirds of the picture and the effect will be very different.
2. I understand the blue colour is the main focus of your image. But I'm sorry to say most of it seems to come from a strange cyan/blue cast all over... Maybe I'm worng on that one, but I do believe your blue sunset would benefit from a colour balance adjustment. It would be even more stunning i guess...
Anyway, this is a nice attempt. Don't give up, just keep shooting!
best, Stefania
ps. I tryed a ws on your pic. hope you like it.
Very intersting image Pawel,
I like a lot the colours and the treatment you gave. Very harmonic.
I specially like the perspective. Without proper correction, perspective is always tricky but I think one shouldn't correct too much, since that's how we see things; in perspective ;)
The door on the side was excellent idea. very well placed.
Very nice work overall.
take care, Stefania :))
Hi Michal,
Indeed a beautiful photograph. I like the choice of B&W it's very elegant IMO. I also like the lightning. Tones are rich and very very nice. It really favors her a lot. Good setting! And she's absolutely gorgeous!!!
There are some things though I think it puts the image a bit down. First, you cut a bit of her right hand and I think that didn't come out so good. It's just a tiny piece but it does make the difference. The, you also cut part of her left arm. I know some people may say it's for the sake of comp. I actually don't mind at all her leg is missing. It's actually a good frame. but i think (and that's my opinion)the arm should had been entirely on the image. When I look at it, my eyes keep searching for the missing parts...
I love her pose, and her strengh in this image. But I think (and I don't know your treatment for the image since you didn't write a note) you may had airbrushed her a bit too far. She has lovely skin and she's young and glowing, so she may not need so much softening. But, again, maybe I'm wrong, since I don't know your workflow.
Anyway, it's a very good work from you and your model.
take care, Stefania
Hi Afshin,
Nic eimage from Pisa. I really want to visit one day ;)
I like the colours and the rpesentation is very interesting. I myself used that kind once. The only pick I have is the tower itself: i think when you rotate your image you may had done it a taf too much, since this tower is well kown because it does not stand prefectly straight.... It leans to one side!
Anyway, I hope you had fun on your holidays!
best, Stef :))
Absolutely gorgeous image!
Colorful, fresh and very yummy. I love the variety of reds and the light is superb.
Well done Magda!
have a great Sunday, Stef :))
Fantastic image even for those to whom garlic doesn't seem very appealing ;)
Lights are perfect and the colours just amazing!
Hpe you still have some time to enjoy hem...
TFS!
Take care, Stef :))
Hi Narayanan,
Indeed the colours ar egreat and looks inviting.
However, I think this image have some small problems and needs some improvement.
It's very pixelated, as if you over-enlarged, or compressed too much. And the focus is a bit too soft I'm afraid...
I would suggest you go back and give another try.
Nice try anyway and TFS!
Have a great weekend, Stef :))
YOur PP skils are great LInda, Indeed a huge transformation from WS to this image. I like the night atmosphere you achieved.
And the work is very neat, so I could not say that this was not really at darker hours. And I think it's very well thought with thelights in different colours.
Me,as a person from the south, know well about the bugs. We have yellow bulbs all over our summer house ;)
Well done ad TFS!
Have a great weekend, Stef :))

Ma ciao carissimo,
