Yes Stefania, there is a lot of medieval mood in this picture,I reconoze it and must say it's very similar to Perugia...

what a beautiful scene! i adore old medieval streets like this and look forward to walking many of them in italy... you've captured this so well Stef :-) very nice point of view and the detail is excellent.. very cool in b&w too.. and the 2 girls add a lovely human elemant that works beautifully.. terrific shot dear ^_^

Great change of time with that picture... Just some details could say it's not far into the past. And of course, camera didn't exist in medieval time ;o)

Excellent view! Lucky there is not so many people. It give better oportunity, to see the architecture!

Hi Stef,

I love old places. They make me feel young and insignificant, and reminds me that when I'm gone something will still be here. I once lived in a house dating back to 1726. Odd place full of strange noises in the night, kind of like breathing and creaking!!

On your image... I really like it although the wall on the left seems to be bowing out at the top a little. Now that could be my eyes playing tricks on me or it could be 'lens distortion' This can be corrected in PS, but I don't know how. If I find out, I'll let you know.

A great picture is this Stefania, indeed it breathes a medieval atmosphere. It kept me looking for quite a while!
I sure like the almost silvery look of you photo.
Also outstanding is the crisp sharpness you have achieved. Great work, well done!

The sharpness is real good. The B+W version is quite effective coz the rough textures especially those brickwall which created a lot of shadows and that's why looks very detail.
