hi David,
I on the other hand love cats =) ... but what I like here is the fact that the window pane is visible, better still: it's almost like we can touch it, with the speckles and the dots.
and it's nice to see the cat's ears down, it's a very natural reaction for a cat when they hear something approaching.

Ceci est plus qu'une photo d'un chat. Grâce à ta composition, au moment choisi et à l'ambiance générale, tu "transcendes" l'anecdotique. Ici, je vois de l'attente, de l'ennui, du silence intérieur - en plus de ce côté à la fois attachant et distant qui caractérise les chats.
Bref, tu nous livres ici une photo d'ambiance sobre mais intense.
