Cows are said to spend their time watching the trains from their field, and it looked like this man spends his time watching the tourists go by on the walkway near the Seine. I saw the paving stones of the walkway and thought this could make for some nice graphic effect...

C'est une très bonne idée... j'aurais préféré une ombre plus longue, donc un soleil moins haut (ou plus bas ?), ce qui est sans rapport avec les qualités du photographe / de la photo. J'imagine le même sujet, à vingt heures, dans un noir et blanc contrasté... Bravo, en tout cas.

Tis good. Composition is good. To bad the guy was not wearing a red or blue shirt.
