This macro looks strange as I have never come across such plant..is it a flower or what?but its very sharp and clear.very well balanced in term of light and contrasts.Good POV.A bit over cropped from top perhaps.tfs

A superb macro of this pretty sea holly.
It is not an easy flower to capture with such detail and still keep it interesting. You really have reproduced the colours, the textures and the shape, faithfully.
It looks to be exploding with happiness in this shot against a nice oof, b/g.

bellissima realizzazione sia in termini di angolo di inquadratura che di luce, per non parlare delle raffinate geometrie che la natura ci ha voluto regalare e che tu hai colto in maniera, al solito, impeccabile. La nitidezza esalta il celeste-grigio conferendo allo splendido fiore una nota quasi metallica che cattura davvero l'occhio. Anche la cornice asimmetrica contribuisce ad arricchire il pregevole scatto.
Molto interessanti le note.
A voler proprio fare i puristi (mi stanno antipatici di solito) forse era meglio allargare appena l'inquadratura per non tagliare alcune delle punte.

Davvero complimenti e grazie per la foto.
