Ciao Silvio,

I believe this Southern White Admiral is a native of Europe, I don't think I have actually seen it in person and I thank you for posting it. The wing span looks impressive and huge. And so are the markings and design on the wings. A beautiful composition with good sharpness. Greetings!

Hi Silvio,

Another wonderful butterfly presentation. The thing I find most interesting with this shot is how you've managed the light. The leaf and lower portion of the butterfly are well contrasted against the darker green bokeh background. Very sharp and nice POV.

This is a well composed presentation, with good main lines!
Macro work is well done, DoF seems accurate and
the back is nicely blurred...
The butterfly has a well reproduced wing pattern,
with fine natural colours!

of course it lives only there, I cannot see it in Japan.
but I know its splendid blue on inner wings.
