Hello Cynthia,

This is a eye-catching scene, full of colour and bucolic charm. The horses make a pleasing f/g feature before absorbing the full impact of those amazing trees.

IMO, the tops of the fencing and the lack of space for the horses, in the f/g, does spoil the overall effect. I'm sorry to be so critical of what otherwise is a fine shot.

I have done a w/s to address the problem. I hope you have PS or PSE so that you can follow the steps. I hope you are not offended and like the changes.

Hoi Cynthia,Good to see y'r back! This picture has a lot of potential, as discribed the dull sky is a "killer" of this nice view. The autumn colours look a bit flat too, but the composition with the horses is quite nice. Regarding the sky, try next time a firm crop and get rid of it :-) Increase the curves and adjust the saturation will improve this fine picture for sure. So made a WS to show what I mean. Echt een prachtig uitzicht! Alleen jammer dat je iets te veel van de onderkant hebt weggelaten. Veel kritiek op de foto, maar het blijft toch een hele mooie foto!
