[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
U know what? I'm scared of making portraits... I don't know why, maybe I think it's just too difficult for me... I don't know. Anyway, this is one of my tries ;]

PP:
RAW->TIFF->JPG, denoised (ISO 800 isn't perfect :), little play with contrast, WB, shadow and highlights, downsized, resharpened and framed.

Well Marcin, don't judge yourself too hard and don't hesitate to do portrait... It is very good! The composition and lightning are great!

Hi Marcin

I tried a ws for you.

Workshop dopiero to naprawia... Moze sprobuj konwersji do B&W? Wydaje mi sie, ze fotka wiele by na tym zyskala, tym bardziej ze wyszedl Ci paskudny, kolorowy szum, ktory tam moglby byc elementem artystycznym.

Pozdrawiam :)

I like your people studies, you are a good people photographer. I too am working on portraits, I think it is about managing the lighting. I like your angle here, the light behind is challenging but it nicely outlines his head and neck and stubble. You need detail in the camera side of the face, there is enough to make a good shot, however I wonder if a reflector board to bounce some light back into the face would have made it a great shot? Keep at it, cheers, Karey

Hi Marcin

YOu have done well with this self portrait. Good lighting and POV though I do think the ISO setting could perhaps have been better...looks just a little grainy.

Great photo though...I like it! :-)
