The subject is fascinating of course. Colours are good and DOF too. I almost wonder in this case, though, if the web dominates the shot too much, and less crop would be good?

IMHO the web is so complex and busy in its patterning that the eye has nowhere to stop and rest, also the web is very centrally placed so there is no respite to be found in negative space.

Maybe a shallower field of focus, with stronger blur and fewer strands of the web remaining sharp, would work better?

Sorry - just my thoughts on it!

Another lovely capture from the morning dew drops on a spider-web with great details!
I also took some picturestoday and hopefully post some in the days to come if they fulfill my standards :)
Great POV and perfect focusing with superb natural colors.

sure I love this shot - drops drops drops ;-)
I catched a very big web, it's gigantic.
So I don't agree with Rew, sorry my friend Rew, with the crop although I love to make super-Macros ...
But this big one is worth to show it in this way and I like it very much.
