Keeping with my theme of posting abstract images of iconic Swiss items, you may have been able to guess that this is part of the Swiss flag. In the Marché de Lausanne there is now an enormous Swiss Flag awning covering almost the entire Place de Palaud to keep the sun and rain off of the shoppers and kiosks. The ripples in the awning's material form the parallel diagonal lines across the frame.

Terrific POV and composition for this abstraction! I really like the first impression and curiosity this creates...complete with interesting textures and materials for added intrigue. Perhaps it would be helpful to clone out the tiny dark triangle at the upper right corner...I find my eye unwillingly drawn to it:) The red-white color palette and contrast give extra visual impact, and the diagonal seams add complimentary lines and detail. Excellent!
