Superb capture reflecting great dynamism, Urs!

The B/W effect works very well for this shot. The steam engine on a historic bridge seems to make a grand entry in the shot. I like the tree on the left corner of the picture.

Bonjour Urs,
Excellent point de vue sur ce train juste comme il franchit le viaduc. La conversion en noir et blanc, en plus d'être bien réalisée est aussi très pertinente considérant qu'il s'agit d'un vapeur tout juste sorti de l'histoire.

Wonderful image of this old steam engine passing along - the b&w treatment gives the image an antique feel, although the details are quite sharp. The billowing cloud of steam provides energy to the image. Well done.

Voilà une photo fort "esteamable".Beau N&B qui n'en est d'ailleurs pas et dont la couleur fait immédiatement venir aux narines cette odeur de fumée unique au passage du train.J'en ai bien connu des comme ça , mais oh! p..ain ! je viens de recevoir une escarbille dans les yeux.Tu m'y reprendras avec tes photos réalistes, toi !...

Shots like this really stir our memories and flood our brains with delightful sounds and smells, as well as images!
I like your pov with the engine puffing towards us, and I think the decision to use b&w was a good choice.
Very good details of textures.

There is a little oe where the smoke merges with the sky. I have done a little w/s to differentiate between the two, which I hope you will like.

The billowing smoke and the positioning of the train in the frame certainly remind me of the poster of an old Orient Express movie. The b&w rendition with its contrast is effective. Good weekend.
