Hi Nicou,
That's alot of fog! Good idea to get a photo of it. We have had fog here a bit lately but nothing to this extent. The hills peeking out in the background looks great, as does the silhouetted mountain in the FG and the small house tucked in underneath all the fog. Nicely composed shot.

I'm not sure how to describe this picture.I like way how you caught fog..it's totally different picture of usual "misty picture"...There is fog,and sun,and clear blue sky,and snow...so much different things in just one picture,...

Hello Nicolas,

This shot is quite amazing!
The horizontal layers of differing colours and differing textures shows great contrasts.
I love how the mountain top is emerging through the swirling fog.
The tiny chalet gives some indication of the scale.

An amazing picture Nicolas.
The fg land is in silhouette apart from the tiny chalet, which gives us scale,then the fog making a broad band across the centre of the shot.Then the hint of the mountain tops and a beautiful blue sky.
I imagine it felt quite cold in the shade looking up to this scene.

I see lots of similarities between the Canadian Rockies, The Swiss Alps & the Himalayas. All 3 are magnificent alpine areas & this image is no exception. Good horizontal layering into approximate thirds & also tri-tones (black white & blue instead of grey). Beau travail!

c'est incroyable comme le brouillard peut être superbedans la montagne car la montagne qui est plus hate ressort mais nous ici à la côte on depuis 3 jours un brouillard qui vient de la mer et on y voit ien de rien à part du gris
