this is from ol'edinburgh part of town..edinburgh's famous little dog.....greyfriar's bobby..story was made into a movie...when the owner died this little loyal dog..waited around his favorite water'in hole..just wait'in for his return. enjoy! dale

Hi Dale,for anyone that has not read the story of "Greyfriar's Bobby" to their children,may I suggest it as a great bedtime story,bring lots of hankies.
You have captured the textures of both the sculpting & the old stone buildings with excellent colouring & details.I do find there is two main subjects competing for the eyes attention,number one,those beautiful stone houses & number two the lampost & the sculpture of Greyfriar's Bobby.I thought if the background was just a tad softer & the dog a tad lighter so that we can see a little more of its detail,the two items might balance a little better.Have done a workshop to show a comparison but you don't allow them,so I can't show you.A different POV & one that makes for an interesting composition.TFS
