[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
This is my Son Nathan outside playing with a sparkler. After a few were lighted up I decided to capture the moment.
Just having fun with light. Hand held, no tripod.

Not much in post pro, the usual, that is, resize for web. LOL
Thanks for looking.

Mike

I think it is very good! Just enough light to see your son staring into the magic of a sparkler. And compliments... you have really steady hands!

Good catch, Mike! And good breathing control! Love the light on your son's face. Ooops, the title not exactly centered... Great job on the image!

Hi Mike,

You've captured it so great! It's remarcable that it's so sharp and hand held!!
I like the way the light of the sparkler gives that warmth on your son's face and hand. Very nice work!!!
Well done and TFS :)

congratulations with over 5000 pts.
very nice shot here with beautiful light.

Good work for being hand held Mike. The light on Nathan's face is just right.

This is really nice, Mike. The light reflected in his face and the expression on that face make it both a magic moment and a magic photo. I even like the frame and the corny title and signature in this one.

Very nicely done, Mike, and what steady hands you have to have taken this without a tripod. I really like the light on Nathan's face from the sparkler (I do hope he has not burned his finger waiting for you to take this picture!!!. Well done!

Simple but very effective composition with minimal light available. well done MNike.

Lovely frame as usual :)

Great mood shot Mike, and pretty sharp for handheld at that low light. You captured both the sparkle and Nathan's face just perfect. TFS,
Sam

Mike, this is truly awesome... the light on your son's face and on his dark clothes, the way the clothes are subtly distinguished from the background by that warm light... Wow!
Handheld at 1/15 ? Mmmm... tricky, but you managed fine.
TFS, TFS².
If this was my shot I'd have it hanging on a wall by now!
Will free up some space in my fav list and add this one!

And, if you don't mind me saying so, this is a far better entry for Single Light Source than the one you entered already...

Hi Mike, this is really well done, with so few light! Well achieved. And your pov is well chosen.

Also the golden fonts on the black frame is perfect with the subject!

Cheers, Yan :)
