For many persons, just see one of them near and it's the panic. Imagine if you find that! Ho but i was secure. It was very high at the top of a pole with an instrument with a solar panel. What i try to capt here was the ray of sun who just partially give light. For the rest they move so much! In a dark context like that i had to do some compromise... I enjoy the final result... Live and let live.... But not so close ok! :)

Pour bien des gens, juste une d'elle et c'est la panique. Imaginez si vous tombiez sur ça! Ho mais j'Étais sécure. C'était très haut au somment d'un poteau avec un panneau solaire. Ce que j'essayait de capter ici c'est le jeu de lumière qu'un seul rayon de soleil créait sur les alcoves. Pour le reste ça bougeait pas mal! Dans un pareil context j'ai livré un compromis et j'aime assez le résultat final... Vivre et laisser vivre... Mais pas trop près ok! :)

It's true: it's not sharp! But I like the compositiion and the feeling here: like hands shaking from getting too close!

Two points for bravery, my friend!
Just yesterday, Christan was (again) getting up close to bugs, bees and other creepy crawly things. What we wouldn't do for a picture.....
I wonder if live and let live is in their vocabulary. Watch out when they get angry!

You have captured your sunlight very well and the fact that the wasps are not so clear, gives it a feeling of movement, hopefully not towards you. Great composition. TFS

Not an easy shot, but still a good result. I like the lighting contrats between top right & bottom left of the wasp's nest. Merci pour le partage!

They are lovely and friendly insect. Great composition and detail. Perfect focus.

Bon, ça manque un peu de lumière mais bravo pour un tel exploit ! Peu commun de photographier un nid en pleine effervescence ! Je crois que je n'arriverais jamais à faire ça ... un trop mauvais souvenir de ces bêtes-là ;)
