Threatening sky and ivory white cornstalks, just before sileage harvest. Blowing a gale. This is a second shot, this one for Ravi. Yes, you sometimes CAN see the wind blow! This year the farmers are planting right on top of the corn debris, no ploughing, in order to curb erosion.

I like to see the corn blowing in the wind. Their pale colour against the blue sky makes a good contrast. My only suggestion would be to include for of the sky in the composition so it fits into the rule of thirds. Two thirds sky, one third corn. Or if you prefer, the other way around. Other than that this is an excellent shot. If you want to reduce the noise in the sky, www.Neatimage.com has a free download, and their automatic setting is very easy to use. I use it often and it works rather nicely.

I can feel the cold wind of late summer !

Very nice picture.

Cool a picture for me! Wow. This one's nice too, very kind of you. I don't understand how you can get such sharp pictures with the wind blowing and all. You have very little blur in these shots, specially the closeup was too good. Do you remember the settings?. Great work.
