North Beach is about 20 km long. A wild and peacefull stretch of dunes and scatered vegetation blown by a steady wind. A favorite place of mine.
La dune du nord et sa plage s'étendent sur près de 20 km entre l'ile de Cap-aux-Meules et l'ile de Pointe-au-Loup. L'endroit est sauvage, balayé par des vents constants et parsemé de plantes qui s'accrochent difficilement au sable.
I have used Nikon Capture NX2 to adjust the contrast and light (u-control points) because the original picture was rather dark. |

Yes, this picture makes it clear to me why this is a favourite place.
You managed to capture the wind and the typical vegetation one can find on dunes.
