Hi Chris,
This scene would typically be an exposure challenge for me but you metered it quite well. There is good depth, colors, and exposure. A very scenic view, the dog which was positioned between light and shadow adds extra 'ooomph' appeal, and the distant snow-capped mountains are sharp and look great against the blue sky. Regards...

Wonderful mountain landscape, and I agree that the lady's red jacket contrasts nicely with the blue/greens. The mountains in the background really make this shot for me. Just a majestic view.

Hi Chris,

The presence of the person and of the dog has an effect of scale. The point of view leads our eyes toward the mountains in the background which is giving depth to the composition. The reflection of the light on the snow is enhancing the colors of the scenery. have a nice day.
