This was the view from our lawn chair vantage point along the lagoon at Harrison Hot Springs, B.C. moments before the celebratory fireworks show began there on Canada Day. I like this for the colors, and had there not been so many people along the sand near us, I would have liked to search for a better point of view but chose to sit tight and try to photograph the fireworks. I may post one of those shots next time. You can see several more shots like this on my website HERE

We moved from BC to Windsor Ontario last year and still it. Harrison was one of favorite haunts from Mission and we often took the motorcycle. TFS Lovely atmospheric shot

Yeah, this is a beauty. Love the range of color tones in the sky. and that orange .. WOW! I like the one light there, reflected in the water too.

Excellent capture. I suspect you did a little PP to get this deep orance but it is very effective and eye catching. The reflection works well here as it picks up the one light as a focal point of interest.

Hi Gerald,

The sunset is giving nice colors to the sky, to the lake and a set of shadows to othe area of the scenery. The point of of view takes our eyes toward the mountains in the background which is giving depth to the composition. Well done, have a nice day.

Its a very beautiful color spectrum which you have fire red to deep violet. Simple but nice composition with strong shadows.
