I think the technicals and the colours, dynamics etc. here are perfect - and the rule-of-thirds placement of subject is terrific.

In my humble opinion though, I think the inclusion of the flowers in the foreground and the landscape composition steals a lot of the potential impact - especially as the light reflected along the hull is so amazing, it feels to me like it should be more dominant within the frame, perhaps a closer wide-angle view with portrait orientation.

Just my opinion of course!

Superbe vue anachronique de ce sous-marin posé sur la terre ferme. Le premier plan fleuri accentue encore se sentiment. Le point de vue est vraiment bien choisi et les couleurs sont superbes. une belle reussite.

a nice pov here. wonderful blue sky, so soothing to watch it. perhaps a more little closer photo or a wide angle would have been more nicer. but its a nice one.

Hi Annie,
Great low PoV - it alters the whole scale of things making the submarine look much smaller and the filter has given the sky a nice gradient of blue

Excellente composition, je trouve que les fleurs a l'avant plan accroche ton paysage. Les couleurs du ciel sont merveilleuse, elle passe du bleu profond au bleu turquoise. Du trés bon travail.

Jolie présentation de ce sous-marin que l'on peut visiter à Rimouski, belle prise de vue et note sur le sujet, excellent point de vue entre de jolies fleurs sauvages, j'aime bien aussi le workshop dans lequel on voit mieux le sous-marin...

This is so Beautiful, the clarity and adequate sharpness.
The composition, Low POV and inclusion of beautiful sky adds to the beauty.

IMO the flowers giving a color full natural frame and the landscape is adding for the b/g, pleases my eyes :)

Very nice work, such vivid and striking tones throughout this scene. Love the low POV here, seems to work nice and effectively. Interesting cloud coverage too! The DOF from f/11 looks very sufficient. Well photographed.

Hello Annie,

Such a beautiful shot, made so interesting by your low pov which uses the delicate nature of the pretty wild flowers for f/g interest.
I'm glad you explainted that the focal point was a submarine because I would have had trouble identifying it. However, it is perfectly placed in the frame and expertly framed by the wild flowers. It stands proud and confident against a soft, blue b/g.

Magnificient view you have captured here! I like the mood in the picture, taken with great sharpness and from a well chosen POV. The flowers are just amazing, giving a fantastic look to the main subject of the picture, the submarine. Great contrast does exist in the picture too. Quelle étrange nature morte, Annie...
En tant que tel, il est déjà bizarre de voir un sous-marin échoué sur une plage, mais la façon dont tu l'as mis en scène en renforce encore le côté surréaliste. Avec ces fleurs à l'avant-plan, on croit rêver. Excellente composition, renforcée par des couleurs intenses sans être excessives.
