For the Friday theme

I took this image years ago while I was a SCUBA diving instructor and an uderwater photography teacher in Club Med. This club is in the desert of Sonora Mexico and was called Club Med Guaymas. I shoot the image from the roof of the building to show the pool, some of the building and the desertic area. As you may expect, digital photo didn't exist at that time so original is a slide film image scanned on an Epson flat bed scanner (model 4180) at 48 bits to maximize details in shadows and highlights.

Camera: Nikon F3
Lens: Nikkor 28mm f/2.0 AI (or could be a 50mm f/1.4)
Film: Ektachome
Scanner: Epson 4180

Superb view of the resort and very good quality of scan despite the age of the slide from 1984. Good compositiona nd really a great place.

I'll bet you would love to be back there today with these cold winds.
Excellent scanning for this shot, the title should read "wish you were here" and I think many of us wish we were snow birds at the moment.

It looks a very inviting place to come and holiday at.
25 years ago - I wonder what has changed.
You show the pool and surrounds very well Alan, and for a scanned image it looks really good

C'est un superbe point de vue. Vraiment un endroit de rêve. J'imagine que d'y travailler doit être assez plaisant. J'aime beaucoup la composition qui nous permet d'apprécier différents POV de l'endroit.
