From the beach, this time a fisherman with a net. I watched him bending over in weird positions on the rock and suddenly he threw the net in the water. He got lucky on his first throw. When he came down, I spoke to him. He was pleased with his catch. I asked him how he knows when to throw the net and where. He told me that by looking at the water from a certain angle, he can clearly see if there are fish. Just like the pelicans or the herons, I imagine.

Following two comments about the fisherman being too centered, I expanded the canvas on the left side by 10%. You can see the result in the workshop.

Hi Daniel,

Great moment captured here. The colours of the sky for the BG to this composition is very effective. I like the silhoette of this guy about to throw his net. Awesome!

Hello Daniel,

Great silhouette of the cast net fisherman. The colors are wonderful, but the subject is too centered in the composition for me. Still a worthy shot, though!
