I love all the adobe architecture in Mexico, the rich colors and all the tilework everywhere. This stairway presented a quiet unclutered view of the best in what they offered as far as architecture. I'd like to go home and re-do my house, but then this type of architecture would probably look strange in washington's greenery.
I miss this view already!

Photo: Cloned out a white light on the stairwell I thought distracted, Thought about leveling the stairs, but then the wallline on the corner would have been crooked? This one was hard to decide what to do. Played with levels, and increased saturation +3. Then resized and sharpened.

Great picture. I love the textures, the designs on the steps and the monochromatic quality. It was smart to clone out the white on the stairwell; white does tend to distract.

Hi Lori - this is a perfect graphic image in my view. I really like the light and colour settings in it ... various temperatures of orange ... Plus a very intuitive graphic composition ... makes it... a favourite for me!
