I don't think it's weird, seeing that tecate signs are everywhere in Mexico, its just one of the many wall advertisements for cervezas in mexico. It is very interesting, however, that a mother and child alone are in front of this sign. Maybe it's a stretch but it seems like an allegory to a mother and child being abandoned by an alcoholic husband/father... Maybe, maybe not.

Tecate, cuando en Argentina había una gran importación, llegaba a nuestro país la cerveza tecate... de la que debo tener alguna lata guardada por ahí. Igual no tomaba porque era muy pequeño.
Lafoto está un poco oscura y tal vez la podrías haber ilumunado un poco más... pero igual es una buena foto de calle.
