|When we travel to Pennsylvania, we almost always stop in the town of Intercourse, PA. My wife, Minay, is a quilter, and this area of Pennsylvania is quilter's heaven. There is a particular fabric shop called Zook's Fabrics, so we will stop there for her to stock up on fabric to bring back to Texas. The fabric prices at Zooks are much, much less than any of the Texas stores, and quilters have a saying, "The one who dies with the most fabric wins." Minay is doing her best to win.|
All around Zooks, there are quaint little shops and markets. These gourds were piled in a bin in one of the markets. I took dozens of pictures of them, but I was still struggling with figuring out how to get the depth of field right, so I'm not really satisfied with most of them. This is the best of the bunch of gourd photos, IMHO, but it still has blurry areas that I would rather not have.
The only post-processing done was to adjust the levels a little, sharpen and resize.
