Trash Art 2
 |
|
| [Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista |
Different day, different light...compared to my first Trash Art post.
This is a clearer and brighter shot of a sculpture constructed from found objects and scrap materials. It is a surprise discovery along the Albany Waterfront Trail near Berkeley, California (across the bay from San Francisco).
PP: cloned out a person who would not want to find themselves on the internet:), adjusted contrast, sharpened, resized, framed. |

Funny because I am trying to find now where you cloned out the anonymous individual (hehe) and I cannot find it! Great post-processing ;) I love California, haha, they can make art out of trash. Creative people. Really good use of bright daylighting here, I love all the shadows cast upon the sculpture in different ways, and at various angles, and the contrasts are beautiful. Nice rich but natural tones, and good quality. The way you framed this, with the darker figure higher up in the frame at the left, balances well with the rest of the shot. The clarity and detail are impeccable, and the sky is a nice clean rich blue. You have just the right amount of negative space all around, although I would love to see a bit more at the right edge as the cropping of that stick or cord the little figure holds tends to break the continuity of the shot. Good frame though that picks up on the gradient of blues in the sky (I am not a big fan of drop shadow, or gradient frames but this works well). Really nice shot Karen, TFS!

most interesting and creative, good comp and vibrant colours, love the context too, tfs, M, (*_*)
Hello Karen,
This one works much better than your previous post on trash art. Especially thanks to the framing, which shows the (trashy) setting and, thus, the link between art & scenery. Good colours, contrasts, sharpness and DOF.
TFS & kind regards,
Erik
