Misty Vale
 |
|
| [Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista |
There is a nature preserve not far from my home called Trillium Trail (the trail is lined with the flowering plants known as trilliums, which have three leafy bracts). It was a very misty morning the other day so I walked up the trail and was able to get some foggy images of the trail and its surroundings. Here I was standing on a wooden footbridge looking at a small valley through which a tiny trickling stream ran. It was very quiet, with nothing but the sounds of dripping water and birds.
I used my wide angle lens so there is a bit of lens distortion, but I wanted to get a large area in the frame. |

Yup, as I look at this, I can just feel all those things just as you describe them. Great shot .. I really feel as though I'm right in that spot. Fantastic Sandy

(trillium, by the way .. I love them, but unfortunately they don't grow up here:)
Hello Sandy,
A realistic photographic rendering of this beautiful place and mood, but it works. It DOES look cold and wet. I also like the wide angle effect, that makes the photo "breathe", in spite of the narowness of this area.
TFS & kind regards,
Erik
