Hi Chris,
Stunning landscape, perfectly captured and presented. Those red tones are very exceptional and create a special mood in my opinion. A fine well balanced composition too!

Hi Chris,
What a great explosion of the reddish color tones! The sharpness and POV are superb and the cloudy sky gives great contrast to these great natural tones of the landscape here. I like the cliff like structure standing tall against the vast sky.
A very well seen capture!
Thanks for posting.
kind regards,
Paras

I'm surprised at seeing such variety of rock formations in this Park. It's really a place for the joy of photographers!
Very good composition both for the right proportions of earth and sky and for the wonderful appealing colours and clarity which give a strong sense of reality and presence.
well done,

Hi Chris,
Wonderful POV to show the grouping of rocks with the Rockies in the distance. The colors and crispness shown here are fantastic, I hope to get out there one of these days. Have a good evening, beep beep!

Hi Chris,
The wide angle view is showing the details and colors of the rocks. The subject is well framed. It is clear and precise. The quality of the light is enhancing the different tints of colors of the scenery. Have a nice day.

Hello Chris,
Nature's Art makes the most amazing spectacles!
I like how you have given us this extended f/g to set the nature of the terrain before we meet the gigantic sculptures; it also means that they have height and dominance against the b/g.
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Chris, This is truely a work of art produced by weathering effects. The colours are stunning and the shapes are unworldly. TFS. Murray.

Stunning place. I'm always awed by these old rock formations, testament to the age of this planet and the fact that its surface is ever changing.
Personally I would've aimed for more sky, maybe placing those rocks lower in the sky and attempting a 2:1 ratio of sky to land, but as I say - that's a personal preference.
Hard to get a sense of scale here, too, I suspect those rocks are much larger than they look in the photograph!

Hi Chris,
I've never been to Utah, but must get there one day. It looks like a photographer's paradise. You have really captured some interesting rock formations. Nice rich colors throughout the scene. I do think it would also look terrific in black and white with perhaps a boost of contrast. Just a thought as this reminds me of something Ansel Adams would shoot. :) Lisa
