Sprinklers watering an area next to the street made puddles along the side walk. For this photo, I waited for the traffic lights in the distance to change to green, the red light didn't seem nearly as effective.

Hand held, using the wall for support, long exposure.

Post-processing: None apart from frame and resizing.

Excellent photo Kate. I would have wanted to take this one too. It must have been difficult to hold the camera for so long. Very skillful. I am tentatively planning to spend a week in Denver next June and intend to bring my camera along. Any suggestions for subjects...other than the Rockies that is?

Nice night shot. Great use of the wall for support. I find that helps too. The wet reflections are very good. The image might benefit from sharpening a bit. I did a quick try, and Unsharpmask 20/40/0 worked well. Maybe you could try it.

a beautiful desert street at night... as Nino wrote, the colors reflections on the ground gave a nice silky texture ;)

Very nice shot with good reflection usage. I really like the wall on the left edge of the photo and the reflections on it. TFS
