beautiful colors. I saw some a few weeks ago in Vermont which is really rare. I almost ran off the road becuase I kept stairing at them. Iwish I had taken a photo like this of them. Very nice. The big dipper is a nice touch too.

I admire your patience and you definitely have photographer blood in you to go through 3 rolls of film and stay up until 3am to capture this and YES I say it was worth it to see something so incredible.
I have seen northern lights in films and cartoons. I hope come there to see it by my eyes.

Very nice! I often see the Northern Lights in the winter where I am (Upper Peninsula of Michigan). Can you give more info on the shutter speed, and F/stops? What did you find worked best? I'd love to try and capture some shots of the Northern Lights!
