[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
Looking towards Aoraki/Mt. Cook and Hooker Valley from Mt. Ollivier near Mueller Hut.
After hiking 4 hours up on a hot and dry February afternoon, I was rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Hooker Valley a few minutes hike from Mueller Hut.
This was the first of a series of shots I took. The rest was taken with a Gold N Blue Polarizer. In the end I ended up using this one which has no Gold N Blue Polarizer attached.
This is one of my personal faves from my South Island trip. I originally planned to hike further up Hooker Valley which is in the middle of the photo and stay in Hooker Hut but was advised not to because of the unstable moraine wall in the valley by DOC staff. So I booked a 1-night stay at Mueller Hut instead and was rewarded with an even better view of the valley.

Good comp and colour

Simply superb Bernard. Lovely soft colours, well composed and an excellent POV. My health prevents me from this sort of thing or I would be trekking through the mountain ranges of Tasmania. Well done and TFS,
David

Magnificent.

What else can I say? The scale of hugeness of these mountains, that valley itself, is just breathtaking. You've captured it well, good light and saturation, excellent sharpness and depth of field.

Very nice work
