I think balance is the thing missing in this image to be honest Robert. I think you could have got a much better angle, from the front with the back of the bike coming around. Easy for me to say of course there would have been all sorts of things that made this perhaps not possible. And the to aid the composition I would have use perhaps a horizontal camera shot rather than perpendicular. As in the camera in normal position rather than side ways. But as to the image of the trip itself full points. So will just give you a smiley without the teeth...
