[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
For quite some time I didn't know what to put in HC. I tried every kind of idea with hands in different moods...with a large number expressing aggression and force. After all hands do convey well the expressions of determination and belligerence, besides of course, arts and creativity. Then I thought of my personal experiences of hands. Yes - they are tender and caring... actually they convey the best the feeling of love and concern. And then I got this - a random shot of my mother caressing her grandson's, my nephew's cheek. I know this hand well - I know how capable it is of calming and soothing and caring. So tender so gentle. And my mother is a surgeon - a successful one. So this hand has also been a life saver...
I couldn't have thought of a better tribute to hand.

Hi! Mukesh,

You have provided a fine Note here to support a good family study. The colours are soft like hand tinted B&W prints. I like that effect. The fold in the T-shirt is distracting, as it gives the feeling of a clapped hand, both as a thumbnail and in full view. The grain/noise takes a bit from the soft scene and I did a WS to remove it somewhat. I like your IDEA here Mukesh and that is the real importance of the posting would you agree!?
Good luck again!
Mike.

Hi Mukesh,
love the story behind this photo, innocent anf fulish youth against calm but yet powerful hand. Love the grain as well your crop/compo.
Keep up!

Wow - a wonderful picture and such a wonderful note with it. She must love this!
I really like the composition and the graininess of this Mukesh. It captures everything you have said in your note - such a tender and poignant moment. Isn't photography wonderful!?
Thanks for this
Caroline

Hi Mukesh,
I have come to know your images as ones with meaning, often spiritual and evocative. This one also....
It's a wonderful representation, very personal. I don't mind the grain at all.

Very strong; so classical in colour and noise and .... don't know; it's just a great picture. Tenderness professional captured.

This is exactly what I wanted when I thought of "hands!" A gentle, loving caress of his cheek, and his eyes meeting hers.

Perfect, Mukesh, and such a beautiful tribute to your mother. Gentle hands, healing hands, loving hands. Just lovely. :))))

Mukesh,

This is a great shot with nice PP, but I would crop it heavily from the right as the focus now is on the boy's face and not on Grandma's hand. But a precious moment anyway. A touching note. Yous should let her see it and read it.

And I wanted to write this to you before you visited my grandma's-hand shot, so don't think I'm just being polite! :)
