[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
this is the sequel to waterdrop wherein the real experiment took place.

i prepared the scene by placing a monobloc table and dark backdrop. later on a mounted my tripod and popped up the internal flash and set the camera on commander mode using cls (creative lighting system). i placed my sb-800 flash unit in a little front and right (facing to camera) and bounced the flash away from the subject to get the ambient lighting effect.

i poured a little water in a plastic drinking bottle to make sure that it will bounce. next was placing the bottle in a middle of the table and prefocused it and set the camera to manual focus and set the wireless remote. loosening the cap, i lifted the bottle vertically and mentally count and released my hand and simultaneously triggered it when it dropped the "ground."

it took me more than 30 shots and got a couple of satisfied "jumpshots" in the process. :)

Hi Jeff,
very interesting idea.Good timing on the capture.Lovely work and very good focus on the bottle and the drops beneath.I'm not quiet sure about the top part of the picture.
Must admit very good idea and POV,but probably will look better if You've gropped the top more.
It's just my opinion.
Anyway You've done great work here.
Lovely to see bright ideas!
TFS,

Hi Jeff
Astonishing capture, my friend!
It can easily used as water advertising.
Congratulations for how you cathed the bottle and the water drops in a clear and bright way.

Dario

Hi Jeff,

Wonderful capture during action. Perfect usage of light. Very nicely done. I guess, that bottle is of plastic, so that, you didn't broke too many :) TFS.

Kiran.

Excellent idea.
Well excuted and captured.
You have inspired me to keep on trying to capture water shots.
I have many times but not been successful yet.

I love the diagonal angle of the bottle and the displacement ofthe water droplets.

Tfs and for the ideas.

Tracey

Excellent! Well done. Ed

Different, but a very effective picture. Good idea and nice PP work done to it.
Maybe a different color may have been more interesting.....just a thought.
