The Thinker, by Auguste Rodin, originally named The Poet, is a bronze and marble sculpture in the Musée Rodin, in Paris. It depicts a man in sober meditation battling with a powerful internal struggle. It is often used to represent philosophy.

Great composition Alfredo I like the idea of your using the crystal ball for him to sit on.Well done

You will no doubt get a chuckles out of this. In North America this type of figurine is used by a pharmaceutical product called Robaxacet and it is for muscular aches and pains.

Clever and unique:) Great copycat pose, with a contemporary twist. Good POV/angle, and I like the shadow, too. Well done!

Auguste Rodin is absolutely my favorite!! I love all of his works. His museum in Paris is wonderful with "the Thinker" in the garden. This photo made me smile! I like the angle of the thinker as well as the paperweight (?). Sharp image too.

Nice recap of the thinker! Although he's supposed to be thinking seriously and all, he looks a bit funny to me just because he's the wooden man.
