[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
Title from the John Osborne play from 1956.
In school (sixties) we read this Osborne and also Harold Pinter (Nobelprize Literature 2005!)
Together with Pinter, Osborne was at vanguard of post-war British theatre resurgence. They belonged to a group called "The angry young men"
Look back in Anger:
A play in the kitchen, atmosphere of domestic fights in words.
------
Huge marble piece from Ansh Kapoor, 1997 without title.
See the workshop for the original piece.

it seems a hole to another space...... a bloody hole.....
I like it

great abstract image Huub, I like the way that zooming in to an object changes our perception completely. Thanks for this, we should all see things in a different way
Regards
Chris

Great image Huub
I love the way this photo looks
it has a mysterious and abstract look and feel to it.
I love it

I saw the workshop. The second photo is taken from such an angle that I wonder what is on the left part of this photo or how you did this. Is this a further part od this sculpture? And how did you add this red "marks"? Were they there originally?
Well done.
Jarek

nice slant on the whole thing, like it, well done (*_*)

Hi Huub. Hier ben ik nog niet rijp voor of het valt buiten men vermogen van creatief denken. Ik zeg er dus liever niets over. Al is de kleur wel appart.
Groeten Frans.

What a bizarre photo. It looks like thethroat of a Great White Shark. Excellent photo.

nice interpretation, looks a bit different in your point of view, and it is suffering in some ways

Interesting interpetations you have created Huub. Initially, I saw a protruding bulge, not a hole, then looking more, I could see the hole, and flip back and forth. In the hole mode, it looks like a marble tunnel, in the the protrusion mode, it looks like a nipple in pain. The sharp line could mean many things, but I won't get into that today ... Very well done and good eye ... Sam

Aha! It took some time until I could understand what you mean with the title, (after reading the discussions) - before I couldn't imagine anything concrete ... now I see this wounded eye, the lines of a nose, a pale skin ... took a while though. Well performed interpretation of this sculpture in photography.

Nice and moody shot. Only the frame could be bigger in my opinion. But still nice job.

Don

nice experiment, really abstract... A photo that makes people think, I like it :)
