| Introdução: | Well what can I say about myself. My name is James McCallum and I spend the first 20 something years of my life living around Loch Lomond on the West coast of Scotland. I worked there for the Royal Navy, mostly with Nuclear Submarines at an RNAD Base but after 6 years it was time to move on and I ended up in Denmark. I worked at a few jobs for the first 3 years there before settling at a medical company where I was lucky enough to travel the world. I worked mostly with SQL and Oracle database with a lot of Project Management there too. After about 10 years in Denmark I packed up and moved to Greenland where I have been for the last 3 years. Yes its a cold wild place at times but if you love the outdoors and the sea its really a wonder place and I hope some of my photos can show just a tiny of how great it is to be here. My love for photography of photography goes back to when I was a child and my first SLR was a Minolta 3xi, a very basic camera but it was the start I needed. I stayed with Minolta until only recently with a Dynax 5 and turning digital with the KM 7D but after problems with a Sony A700 I sold up and moved over to Nikon. Right now I am using a Nikon D300 with a Nikon D3 in the plans very soon. Currently I am using the following gear Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4D, Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Macro, Nikkor AF 80-200mm F/2.8D ED , AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm 2,8G ED , Sigma 15-30mm EX DG.
