| Introdução: | Born in the Uk I travel back there every 2 or 3 years or so. I have lived in Ontario and British Columbia and now back in Ontario (Windsor).I enjoy taking photographs and have done so most of my life. I started with a humble Rand camera as a child, bought a kodak instamatic as a tenager which had 3 settings ranging from bright sunshine through partial cloud to cloudy, bought a 2nd hand Praktika when I started work and then a new Pentax K1000 which I still possess.(update I am in mourning for my Pentax K1000 After 30 years I have finally let it go in P/X for a Pentax 50mm f1.4 lens. I think digital has finally won the war in my case at least) A few years ago my wife bought me the Toshiba PDR700 3mp camera which functions well in good light and then 3 years ago my wife bought me the Pentax K10D. This I am still learning to use. I find TL to be both a useful and interesting site where we can mutually encourage each other to develop (no pun intended) as photographers. The site provides opportunities to see different parts of the world that I am unlikely to visit and an opportunity to see some great shots of these places. | |
