| Introdução: | Hi I am a retired grandmother, born in Cardiff, Wales, married then lived in Bristol, England, and in 1967 we emigrated to Canada where we have lived, first in the Montreal area, and now just over the border in Ontario. We have two children and 5 grandchildren, who live in the Montreal area. It's good to be a member of the TrekLens site, as it offers the freedom to show photographs which are not really subjects for the Trek Earth site. I have always enjoyed photography and whenever we travel I like to carry my camera. I have learned such a lot at TrekEarth with all the helpful people there, that I am sure this site will achieve the same success. 23.02.06 Got my new Digital Rebel XT 350D today and I am really enjoying it, though not had any good outings to test it properly yet. Anxiously waiting for the winter to end and spring and summer to arrive, so we can get out more. This summer we are taking a European tour, and it starts in London and then we travel to Brussels, Wurzburg, Prague, Vienna, Venice, Rome, Italian Lakes, Lucerne, Paris and finally back to Longon. We are staying in the U.K. for about 5 days before the trip with our friend who lives in the Cotswollds, and she will accompany us on our trip. Then after the 19 day tour, we are returning to the U.K. for about 5 days more in Cardiff, Wales, my home town. 27.03.06 Today I got my lens ready for me trip to Europ. A Sigma 18-200mm DC 3.5-6.3. This way I will need just the one lens to carry around. I have just tried a few shots and it seems to be very good. My son Rob (Robinet) is also a memeber of TL and I hope he will enjoy it here as much as I do. I have told him how friendly all the members are and how we learn together.
