| Introdução: | Bonjour tout le monde! I actually come from Royan, a small city in southwest France, (“between” Bordeaux and La Rochelle, facing the Atlantic Ocean) but I am currently living in Japan. I am a French teacher in the Tokyo area. To the time I write these lines, almost ten years have passed, and an adorable wife and two young children now enlighten my everyday life. During my student years, I was using a good, though heavy, single relfex from Ricoh. We spent may years together but as every good thing has an end, I took some distance with photography for more than a decade... Time has passed now, and I recently decided to take a new start and learn back from the ABCs of photography with the modern technology. Having compared different cameras and talked to a few friends, I ended up with a Nikon D60 (but this does not make me a “Nikonist”), just because the specs where more than good enough for me, and it would fit well in my hand. I like to take people and landscapes, but I would also like to try things I never did before (new angles, abstract, movement, macro...) So I hope to learn a lot from you all.
