Ta for your visit. I checked the black line and can only think it is a shadow between the diagonal rain and the fence behind. It sure isn't any pp stuff, cos I only reduced, and added a tad of sharpness to this shot.
The blue lamp would look good indeed, but would probably blow up at the first heavy rain. It is a nice lamp, and we have it's twin in the living room as a table lamp. That other one was hanging on a chain. It was just too much in the one room. Though it had been there for all the 12 years we have been here, and in our previous house also. Come to think of it that lamp is pretty darned old...I got it when I worked for a lighting company for a few years when I started back to work after the children were old enough. So it must be at least 30 years old.
